Our program aims to create a safe and fun environment to teach valuable water safety and life saving skills. The Nipper's program is run by our qualified lifeguards and teaches skills such as board paddling, swimming, survival skills and water safety in an engaging and active way.
2019-20 Nipper Sessions 1. Friday: 6:00 – 7:00pm (before Christmas only) 2. Saturday: 2:30 – 4:00 pm Nippers are very welcome to attend one, both sessions or swap between the two. The nipper program runs every week regardless of the weather. If it is raining or cold, please consider wearing a wetsuit and have warm clothes to put on afterwards. If the weather is extremely poor we will hold indoor sessions at the club (eg: CPR training etc).
Parents / Caregivers ** A Parent or Guardian is required to stay on the beach for the duration of Nippers. ** Please ensure that you provide adequate supervision for your child whilst at Nippers. We strongly encourage parent participation and greatly value your assistance if you would like to get involved and the kids love it too. We remind everyone that it is a requirement of Surf Life Saving Australia and our Club’s insurance that Nippers must be 5 years of age to participate in the program.
