Davida JoyceClub CaptainDavida came to Australia from Ireland in 2011. One of the first items on the agenda was for her children to participate in Nippers. It was only natural living near the coast and being lucky enough to have beautiful Beaumaris beach on her family's door step. It wasn’t long before she got involved, initially as a Bronze Life Saver and then she was elected as Club Captain. Davida's entire family enjoys BLSC in various active roles. They love it ! Her role includes making sure all the patrol members have the necessary equipment, skills and training to Patrol the beautiful beach.

Sasha Long, Cian Rennie, & Luke JoyceNippers Coordinators
This dream team has been through our nippers program themselves and have gone on to do the SRC and Bronze Medallion, as well as seizing many other opportunities and development and leadership courses with Lifesaving Victoria (LSV). These team members highlight how valuable life saving skills are going into adulthood and the advantages these skills bring as a point of difference to employers. They are the energy and passion behind our nippers program and their enthusiasm, organisation and drive can be seen in the amazing initiatives we provide our nippers. Always a smile on their faces whether it be teaching lifesaving and water safety skills, to encouraging our nippers to dress up like superheroes or pirates and having a blast on the beach.
